Experience the canopy tour and sore through the heights of the majestic trees along the Tempisque River. At these heights you will marvel over the wildlife and fauna that exists and how easily they make their home in the majestic tree tops. A learning experience mixed with fun and adventure abounds on these wonderful tours.

The floating tours take place on the Tempisque River where you will be able to see some of the animals that dwell in the dry forest along the way. You can enjoy the calm waters as you drift downstream with only sounds of the jungle to be heard.

Both tours are highly recommended as a unique way to see some of the area as well as make a memorable highlight of your trip to Costa Rica.

GUACHIPELIN FULL ADVENTURE COMBO TOUR 

This full day expedition is designed for real adventure lovers.

– Our activities are next to the majestic Rincón De La Vieja Volcano, one hour and a half from the Hotel.

1- First, 45 minutes of horseback ridingthrough the jungle, crossing 3 rivers.

2- Then, the tubing adventure begins along the Negro River with class III rapids.

After this part of the tour, we will enjoy a classic Costa Rican Lunch.

3- Enjoy the thrills of a canopy and rappelling tour!! ZIP LINE THROUGH THE BLANCO RIVER CANYON ALONG WITH TWO TARZAN SWINGS!!

PALO VERDE NATURE CRUISE

A GREAT CHOICE FOR BIRD WATCHERS AND WILD LIFE LOVERS!!

This is a famous tour in Costa Rica.

In this float river-safari you will have the chance to see wild animals up close in their own habitat.

After a scenic drive, enjoy a two hour cruise on the Tempisque River being the nearest access to world famous Palo Verde National Park, home to hundreds of migrating and local water bird species.

Among other creatures you might see…. – monkeys, – Iguanas, – Smaller Mammals on the river banks, – The mighty American crocodile, one of the largest in the world.

After the safari, we provide you a real COSTARICAN TYPICAL LUNCH, COOKED WITH A WOOD KITCHEN.

On our return, we will pass by the famous artisan village of Guaitil and learn how the Chorotega Indians make their pottery using the same techniques that were used by their Pre-Columbian ancestors.

Finally we´ll stop at the “small store coffe tour”, where you´ll learn about coffee, its process, its importance to Costa Rica, and also you can buy the best coffee in the world

HELICONIAS RAIN FOREST & HANGING BRIDGES

ENJOY THE CLOSEST RAINFOREST

TO GUANACASTE LOW LANDS!

The first stop will be in a hidden gem not found in any guidebooks you’ve seen. Magnificent Llanos del Cortez waterfalls, surrounded by a sandy, gold-speckled beach and lush rainforest, where you can swim and relax.

After the refreshing swim, we will stop at LOS PUMAS WILD LIFE RESCUE CENTER, where we can see: – Jaguars, – Cougars, – Ocelots, – Macaws, – Otters, – Monkeys, – Toucans and More!!

After this, we will drive for 45 minutes to enjoy a typical lunch with a beautiful view of the Miravalles Volcano.

Then, located on the slopes of the Tenorio Volcano, there will be a two hours hike with many stops to see the variety of flora and fauna in the surrounding TROPICAL RAIN FOREST

We will walk on 4 hanging bridges over the forest canopy ranging from 35 to 40 meters in height.

This is an excellent opportunity for observing, -Birds, -Butterflies, -Bromelias, Orquids… and become immersed in THE SPLENDOUR OF THE TROPICAL JUNGLE

BEACH TOUR

– Playa Flamingo: A few beaches are as beautiful as Flamingo Beach – – – prized with a Blue Flag ecological award, with its pristine powdery sands stretching along the Gold Coast.

–  Playa Conchal: This beach lies in the cusp of a scalloped bay with turquoise waters.  The beach is composed uniquely of zillions of tiny seashells that move with soft rustling sounds as you walk; the waters are of crystalline Caribbean quality perfect for snorkelling.

– Tamarindo Beach: Warm water surfing is enjoyed year round and this area offers opportunities for surfers of all skill levels to enjoy the great waves. Tamarindo was the first stop on an epic worldwide surf journey in the popular movie Endless Summer II. It also has grocery stores, a variety of souvenir and clothing shops, an art gallery, pharmacy, full service banks with ATM machine, and real estate offices.

ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS

ATV QUADS TOUR

This is considered the best ATV tour of the area; we will ride some really wild areas, excellent for nature & adventure lovers.

SURF TRIPS

20’ Robalo, 150 HP. By boat to Roca Bruja and Ollies Point. Globally recognized as Witch’s Rock, this beach has earned the reputation of being yet another excellent beach for surfing when the best conditions found here come together all at once … The name is acquired by Roca Bruja almost ghostly noise, Ticos say, used to do when strong offshore winds (which blow here with greater intensity during the dry season) collided with a hole that was in the big rock that occurs after the point. Erosion has caused some landslides and that hole is now covered, but the name seimpuso from some journal articles in the 70’s. today remains the same, and their tubes …

ISLA SAN LUCAS

Upon reaching the island begins the journey to see where are the former premises of criminal history, the medical clinic, church, cells and more. Can see the houses built for that time.
